Loretta Lynn’s Opening South Central Area Qualifier at Cycle Ranch

FLORESVILLE, Texas — The Loretta Lynn’s opening South Central Area Qualifier will be hosted at Cycle Ranch on February 21-22, 2015.  Riders from across the country will head to Cycle Ranch to battle for a qualifying spot to the most prestigious amateur race, the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL at Loretta Lynn Ranch.

In 2014 Cycle Ranch hosted the largest Area Qualifier in its region. This year being the the opener for qualifying it is expected to be even larger.  The opening qualifiers are usually the best race to gauge who riders will be competing against at the upcoming regionals.

Area Qualifiers serve as the first step for riders to make it to Loretta Lynn’s, followed by Regional Championships to seed out the best riders in the country. The Rocky Mountain ATV/ MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship will take place at  Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.

“We are really excited to have the opening qualifier for such a prestigious event. In the last two years heavy investment has been put into Cycle Ranch making it arguably the best facility for motocross in the country.  Riders will have amazing racing conditions on the track, while friends and family will be able to watch from a park like atmosphere. With the help of Red Bull we will have entertainment on Saturday evening for those looking to unwind.” illustrates, Iain Grae the facilities Owner/Operator.

Pre-registration for the event is open until Thursday, Feb. 19th online. Onsite registration will be available on Friday, Feb. 20 from 2 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 21, from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m. and Sunday, Feb. 22 from 6:30 to 7:45. Race fees will be $40 per class plus the $10 AMA qualifier fee.

Gate fees for the weekend will be $35 for Friday- Sunday, $25 for Saturday and Sunday and $15 for Sunday. Spectators under 12 and over 65 will be free, and military buy one get one free.
